Frequently Asked Questions

Here we answer the most common questions we get asked at Flesh. If you have any other questions than these, then get in touch below.

How do I book in if I haven’t spoken to an artist?

To book in, you can email us at info@fleshtattoo.co.uk, DM us on Instagram or Facebook or give us a call at 0161 222 8433:

  • An example of the type of design that you want
  • The size that you want in CMs or Inches, not medium or small
  • The best days and times of the week that you are free to be tattooed
  • Your preferred artist, if you do not know, do not worry, we can advise

We can then offer you a price and a time with the appropriate artist to complete your ink.

How do I pay a deposit?

You can either send us a bank transfer, pay over the phone with a card or pop to the studio front door and leave a cash deposit. Contact reception to arrange any of the above.

I am under 18, but my mum said I can be tattooed.

It is illegal to tattoo someone under the age of 18 in England, please do not ask us to tattoo you as we abide by all the government rules and guidelines on tattooing. We would also suggest that you do not trust a studio that tattoos people underage or doesn’t check ID properly, this may infer that they do not clean their instruments correctly or follow any of the rules to keep you safe.

I have agreed a tattoo with an artist and need to book?

To book in all you need to do is send us an email with:

  • The amount of time that the artist said it would take to tattoo
  • Send a reference for the design agreed
  • The best days and times of the week that you are free to be tattooed

We can then offer you some date and times to book.

I want a consultation; do I have to pay?

No, our consultations are free, just send us an email with:

  • An example of the type of design that you want
  • The size that you want it in CMs or Inches, not medium or small
  • Your preferred artist, if you do not know, do not worry, we can advise
  • The best days and times of the week that you are free to meet a tattoo artist

We can then arrange your free consultation.

Why is your waiting list so long?

This is because we are lucky to have brilliant artists, and with this comes waiting lists. Better to wait and get a beautiful piece of art and experience, so we feel that we are worth the wait and that is also what our reviews reflect.
