Are you ready for a new tattoo? Planning a tattoo can be a stressful experience for some people, especially if it is your first tattoo. There are a few things to consider when getting a tattoo.
The first step of getting a tattoo involves researching what type or tattoo you want and your final design. Most people will already have an idea of the design they want, but platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest are great for some inspiration. For example, if you know want a bird tattoo, try searching ‘bird tattoo’ on these platforms and browse through the results for inspiration. From there, you will be able to get more specific and start thinking about the styles, placements and sizes.
Our experienced team of talented tattoo artists are more than happy to discuss tattoo ideas with you. During the free consultation, they will offer you advice and answer any of your questions. This will include sizing and placements of the tattoo.
If you already contacted one of our artists directly, they may send you our way to book your slot. To confirm your booking, we will ask for a non-refundable deposit along with your contact details. Once we get your deposit, we will go find a date and time that suits you and your artist.
If you haven’t spoken to an artist yet, you can send us your ideas and we will sort it for you. We will assign the most suitable artist and work out a quote then we’ll send you the info to get booked.
We have a lot of very talented artists here at Flesh with different styles, so we will definitely find an artist for you.
Once you are booked in and you’ve secured a slot, you might wonder what happens next, especially if your appointment isn’t until a few months’ time.
Some customers (understandably) wonder why there is no further communication between receiving the booking confirmation and coming to the studio for their appointment. Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about you!
Our artists draw up their designs the week of your appointment. This means that if they need extra info from you about the tattoo design, they’ll contact you during the week of your booking. The artists base their designs on the reference pics/info you provide them over email or Instagram. We always factor time in at the start of an appointment to make any necessary tweaks to the design, making sure it’s perfect for you!
We do have walk-in appointments available at Flesh tattoo. However, it’s not always guaranteed as some artist get booked up very quickly, so we do encourage booking in advance.
If you have any additional questions or would like to speak to any of our artists, you can call us on 0161 222 8433, drop us an email on info@fleshtattoo.co.uk or DM us on Instagram or Facebook.
